Sports Infrastructure

Kendriya Vidyalaya Adilabad provides facilities to support a range of games and sports. The school maintains grounds and equipment for athletics, team games, and indoor activities, enabling students to pursue physical education alongside their academic curriculum.

The TGT (Physical & Health Education) department oversees the sports programme, ensuring students receive structured coaching and opportunities to participate in inter-house and inter-school competitions.

Vidyalaya Teams

Students are organised into house teams for inter-house competitions across multiple disciplines. The school fields teams in athletics, kho-kho, kabaddi, volleyball, and other disciplines at the cluster and regional levels.

Inter House competitions were completed on 29 July 2016, following a series of events that began on 28 July 2016. Results from these competitions contribute to the overall house championship standings.

Regional Representation

KV Adilabad falls under the Hyderabad Region of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Students who excel at the vidyalaya level progress to regional-level competitions, where they compete against other KVs from across the region.

Notable regional selections include Master Yashovardhan, Master Tarun Teja, Master Rohan, and Master Sumith Rathod (Standby), who were selected from the Hyderabad Region for the Khelo India Nationals.

National-Level Participation

Outstanding athletes from the school have earned places at national-level events. The Khelo India Nationals selection of four students from the Hyderabad Region stands as a significant milestone in the school's sporting history.

The school tracks and celebrates achievements at the national level through its Vidyalaya Achievements records and the National List maintained by the sports department.
